The pizza at Royal Princess was to-die-for as you might put it ... Photo: Heidi Rovén.

International pizza day it is called New Year's Day. It actually happens that we eat pizza just on New Year's Day, but mostly as a fun thing. When we cross, however, both my husband Kristofer and Elder son Isac like to eat pizza, especially if there is salami or pepperoni on it!

For them and all of you others who do not think the diet circle is complete without an oven-baked cheese-covered bread piece from time to time we have put together in our opinion the best pizzas at sea! Maybe you choose cruise after the pizza next time? 😉

Royal Caribbean Cruises

rating 3,0Who hasn't ended up at Sorrento's and tailored his own pizza? We especially remember the latest cruise with Allure of the Seas when we all sat on the promenade and smeared in our different pizza variants. Plus for choosing their unique mix of ingredients, but it is not the best we have eaten when we cruise.

MSC Cruises

The buffet restaurant's pizza doesn't really look like this but it was great. (Press image.)

rating 3,5Italian if any should be able to do this with the perfect pizza? The family quota of the pizza was also relatively high when we last crossed MSC Cruises which should pay for good quality! It also has it, the scrumptious ingredients and the thin fin dough we like it. Not too dry, not too slippery.

Silversea cruises

With Silversea cruises puts gold edge on everything. Even the pizza time. (Press photo)

rating 4,0We remember that the pizza aboard the Silversea Cloud was really good (which one should expect from a shipping company in this price range) even though it was many years since we ate it. Possibly our memory may be somewhat embellished by the fact that the chews were washed down with champagne off the Portofino coast - the shipping company is not just five-star without all inclusive…!

Carnival cruise line

Carnival's pizza bakery had a menu but I had to specially compose when I asked. 🙂 (Press image)

rating 4,5When we arrived aboard after one day ashore and everything else was closed, we often headed to the back of Carnival Breeze where the pizza bakery Pizza Pirate always had open! The son loved their salami pizza and so was my husband. I myself tested another, spinach and cheese I have for me, which was also great! Carnival Therefore, Princess Cruises rags in the neck when it comes to pizza pie.

Princess Cruises

The winning pizza is baked at Princess Cruises. It has been named the "best pizza at sea" by others too! Photo: H. Rovén.

rating 5,0Here we want to raise the pizza at Alfredo's to the skies! We have tested it on the ship Royal Princess and the taste buds became mighty impressed! We give it top marks! Super quality of the ingredients, delicious baking, good dough - yes everything was great. A must when ticking Princess Cruises!
